Dr Steger, a professor of anatomy and cell biology at the University of Giessen, Germany, for 23 years before retiring this year, and the holder of a doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Regensburg, has warned: ‘Forcing perfectly healthy people to take a gene-based modRNA injection, sold as a vaccine, is both unethical and dangerous.’1
Since the beginning of 2023, I’ve been following the worrying issue of the extraordinary number of excess deaths continuing to take place around the world, compared to pre-covid mortality levels, and the significant silence on the subject by most politicians and academics and, of course, the mainstream media.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has acknowledged an estimated 14.91 million excess deaths worldwide, as against 5.42 million reported covid-19 deaths, in the period from January 2020 to December 2021.
This included deaths attributable directly to covid-19, deaths from covid-19 not counted or reported, and deaths indirectly associated with covid-19.
But no mention was made by the WHO of possible adverse effects of medical interventions or of lockdowns and their social, medical, psychological and economic outcomes. See the recent video by Dr John Campbell linked at the foot of this page.
From time to time, various reasons for the high number of excess deaths have been suggested, including delayed diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening illnesses due to lockdowns, increased alcohol and obesity problems and more heart disease, a more elderly population, and even climate change and extremes of temperatures.
Populations are different since covid-19 because many people died from the virus; the remaining population should be healthier, with deaths reduced, but that hasn’t happened.
So it’s still incredible to me that no fully comprehensive study, taking into account all possible factors, including the related question of vaccine safety, has been or is being made into this devastating situation; that governments, health authorities and the mainstream media seem unconcerned about, or are simply turning a blind eye to, this loss of life.
Latest figures from Eurostat (July, 2023), the statistical office of the European Union, show that 16 countries recorded excess deaths during May 2023, including Luxembourg 17.3%, Finland 14.3%, Ireland 13.3% and Greece 10.1%, compared to the baseline period pre-covid, 2016–2019.
In Ireland, where I live, about 33,000 deaths were registered annually in the years before covid-19, but latest statistics represent about 3,500 more (unexplained) deaths each year.
In England and Wales, since the week ending April 21, 2023, when there was a startling high of 2,312 excess deaths above the 2017–2022 five-year average, the good news is that the trend has been downward: in the week ending July 21, there were 37 excess deaths, according to Statista, the provider of market and consumer data.
Vaccinations against covid-19 began in the UK and the European Union in December 2020, the UK being among the quickest in the world to get them under way and having one of the highest uptakes in the first few months of the campaign.
According to Wikipedia, as of June 2023, 13.42 billion covid-19 vaccine doses had been administered globally, with 67.9 per cent of the world population having received at least one dose. The vast majority of these vaccinations would have been of the mRNA kind.
And now a molecular biologist, Dr Klaus Steger, has warned that the covid-19 mRNA vaccines are made with modified RNA and not messenger RNA as widely stated and believed — and that modRNA poses serious risks to health.
This news, which to me seems of the utmost importance, follows the report from the UK’s Office for National Statistics which revealed that most covid-19 deaths in England in 2022 — an alarming 92 per cent — took place among people who had received three doses of the vaccine.
This ONS report on deaths involving covid-19, non-covid-19 deaths and all deaths by vaccination status, between April 1, 2021, and December 31, 2022, also shows that among non-covid-19 deaths, mortality rates were highest among triple vaccinated individuals, up to 30 times higher than the unvaccinated level.
And in the USA, latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that vaccinated and boosted people made up most covid-19 deaths in August, 2022. Of 6,512 deaths recorded, 58.6 per cent were attributed to vaccinated or boosted people, indicating an increasing trend of vaccinated people being in the majority of covid-19 mortalities.
Dr Steger, a professor of anatomy and cell biology at the University of Giessen, Germany, for 23 years before retiring this year, and the holder of a doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Regensburg, has warned: ‘Forcing perfectly healthy people to take a gene-based modRNA injection, sold as a vaccine, is both unethical and dangerous.’
Messenger RNA occurs naturally and carries instructions or ‘messages’ from the genes to help make proteins, the building blocks of cells. It’s produced constantly as part of normal cellular processes, and once mRNA delivers its messages, its work is done, and it’s broken down in the body.
But to make mRNA useful for routine medicine, Dr Steger points out, scientists had to modify RNA artificially to increase its efficiency and lifespan. The result: modRNA — optimised for long life with the ability to invade nearly every cell type.
Upon entering a cell, modRNA takes control of the cell machinery and reprograms it to produce a viral protein, for example, spike protein, which is well known to represent a poison for the body and can undermine the immune system.
Dr Steger said: ‘Injected modRNA can result in thrombosis followed by stroke, myocardial infarction, or pulmonary embolism and can promote formation of blood clots inside blood vessels.
‘Studying the open-access databases, including those in the United States, Europe and the UK, on covid-19 vaccine adverse effects, one can see that these risks have become real-life side-effects for people who received the covid-19 injections.’
As a journalist and a citizen, I’m concerned greatly by the appalling statistics which reveal that too many people are dying worldwide without explanation, and by the failure of the establishment to investigate in depth; Dr Steger’s claims only deepen that concern for me.
