Most of the world’s gold is either missing or was never real in the first place. Trillions of dollars of gold over the years has secretly been shuffled around behind the scenes through dark doors or the gold never really existed. From the start in fact this might go down as one of the biggest scandals in the history of the world. You see back in the good old days by which I mean before the Federal Reserve started pulling Financial levers like a desperate slot machine addict the US dollar was directly tied to Gold under the Gold Standard Act of 1900. $20.67 in American dollars was worth one full ounce of gold meaning you could walk into a bank slap down $20.67 and you would actually get gold back from the bank and at this point the US Treasury held massive gold reserves to back every dollar in circulation. I mean the system was so elegant in its brutality if you wanted to print more dollars you had to have the gold to match this naturally prevented money printing frenzies and forced fiscal discipline which as history has shown is something governments hate more than giving young people a shot at buying a house in the 2020s then in 1913. The Federal Reserve was born the financial equivalent of a problem child that starts small fires and blames the dog the Fed was supposed to stabilize the economy which is funny because within 16 of the world’s monetary reserves which made the dollar the heavyweight champion of global currencies. But then came the Great Depression and Americans fearing Bank collapses did what any rational person would do they rushed to withdraw their money in gold this was a major problem for banks because they didn’t have enough gold left to cover gold deposits. Just as today’s Banks don’t have enough actual cash to cover everyone’s digital Bank balances. The whole system was built on confidence and confidence at the time was in free-Fall so in 1933 Franklin D Roosevelt had an idea.
What if the problem wasn’t the banks but the people his solution declare owning gold illegal this happened seriously under executive order 6,102 signed on April 5th 1933. Americans were forced to turn in their gold coins bullion and certificates to the government at a fixed rate of $20.67 per ounce. If they didn’t they could face up to 10 years in prison or a $10,000 fine which is around $230,000 in today’s dollars. So once the government had vacuumed up enough gold from the public it promptly raised the price of gold to $35 an ounce in 1934 under the gold Reserve Act in other words the government stole your gold for $20.67 then immediately revalued it higher instantly devaluing the Dollar by 69%. Nice if this sounds like a scam congratulations you have some financial literacy but the real star of this era which is relevant today was Fort Knox this was built in 1936 and was used as a massive gold storage facility in Kentucky by 1941. Fort Knox alone held about 650 million ounces of gold approximately 65% of all the gold ever mined in human history. Essentially Peter schiff’s wet dream but after World War II the US held so much gold that it essentially bullied the rest of the world into making the dollar the king currencies enter the Breton Woods agreement of 1944 a meeting of 44 Nations where the US flexed its gold reserves like a guy in a Ferrari revving his engine in a parking lot.
The new Global Financial system worked like this the US dollar was pegged to gold at $35 an ounce all other major currencies were pegged to the dollar so if a foreign government accumulated too many dollars they could exchange them for us gold at the $35 dollar rate. For a while this system worked the US had about 20,000 tons of gold in reserve about half of the world’s gold at the time and foreign Nations trusted Uncle Sam to play fair. But if you’ve been paying attention you already know where this is going America cheated you see while the US claimed it would hold enough gold to back the dollars it printed it also secretly started printing way more dollars than it could actually redeem and by the 1960s countries like France started getting nervous. French president Charles de gal never won to trust the anglos took one look at the growing us deficits and said nah I want my gold and so he did what the system allowed he sent French warships to New York converted billions of dollars into gold and had it shipped back to France. Other nations caught on and started doing the same this led to a massive gold drain with the US losing over 50 % of its reserves between 1958 and 1971 by the late 1960s the London Gold pool which is a secret Arrangement between the US and European central banks to suppress gold prices. But anyways that’s a side tangent the London Gold pool collapsed under the weight of rising demand the final straw came in 1971 when Nixon realizing the US was about to get cleaned out officially, temporarily closed the gold window and well it never really reopened. From that moment on the US dollar was backed by nothing the us simply told the world we’re not going to give you gold anymore but trust us the dollar is still worth something and miraculously the entire world accepted it well mostly the dollar still functioned because it was backed by the might of the United States military and later the Petro dollar system. But Fort Knox well it was sealed shut and that brings us to today over 50 years have passed since the last true audit of America’s gold reserves in 1974. Some journalists were allowed a quick photo op inside Fort Knox but there has never been a full independent audit. The last comprehensive audit was in 1953 let me repeat that the last time anyone fully verified the United States gold reserves was when Dwight I enh Hower was the president and people still thought smoking was good for you.
So is there actually any gold in Fort Knox or is it just an empty Vault being guarded for no reason well we don’t really know however we do know that a lot of countries are demanding their gold back from the United States today. If you’re wondering why this wasn’t a big deal for decades it’s because most Nations trusted the United States to store their gold it was safe it was convenient and more importantly it let America hold on to some financial leverage over other countries after all. If you hold someone’s gold you kind of control their ability to do business on their own terms but in recent years that trust has been evaporating faster than a Ponzi scheme in a market crash. For example Germany one of the most patient Nations on Earth asked for 674 tons of gold back in 2013 the US response well it was yeah sure but uh it’s going to take a few years guys but Venezuela they tried to get their gold back from the bank of England in 2018 only to be told nah we don’t think you deserve it anymore.
In other words your gold isn’t really yours if a foreign power decides you’re on their bad naughty list turkey Poland Austria Hungary and the Netherlands have all been pulling their gold out of the US and the UK like they know something that the average person doesn’t this isn’t some minor Trend it’s a full-blown International gold repatriation movement. You’d think that with all this uncertainty gold’s price would be going through the roof and it sort of is but maybe not soaring as much as it should. Why well that’s because the modern gold market is about as rigged as a WWE match so there is something called paper gold. It’s a system where financial institutions have figured out how to sell way more gold than they actually have today.
For every 1 ounce of actual gold there are two 200 to 300 ounces of paper gold floating around in contracts ETFs and Futures Trading in other words people think they own gold but what they actually own is a promise from a bank or not be honored if everyone tried to cash out at once. Pretty much the current gold market is the equivalent of selling concert tickets to a venue that doesn’t exist. As long as no one shows up at the door demanding entry the scam works just fine but if people actually start knocking well poop hits the fan and this is where things get scary because if the US gold reserves are lower than reported
and if paper gold collapses under its own weight then the entire system could implode overnight. So a big question is does the us actually have this gold the short answer is no one really knows. The government swears it’s there it says trust us guys it’s there but they refuse to let anyone see it foreign countries are pulling their gold out of the US vault like they’re bracing for impact and the gold market itself is so leveraged with fake gold that if people started demanding physical delivery it would expose a financial fraud of biblical proportions but this isn’t just about a few paranoid governments wanting their shiny metal back okay this is about a global power shift a financial system that’s looking shakier than a Jenga Tower in an earthquake.
And the creeping realization that gold might be on the verge of making the biggest come back since bellbottoms and cocaine in the’ 70s so let’s get to the real question is the world trying to break free of the US dollar. Is gold about to take over as the financial Kingpin of the world and are we looking at the mother of all economic resets I mean for the longest time gold was treated as a boomer asset something your paranoid Uncle would bury in his backyard next to his emergency stash of canned beans and ammunition.
Governments especially in the west moved away from gold claiming it was a barbaric Relic they did this while embracing the sweet flexibility of fiat currency and Fiat money but now suddenly central banks can’t buy enough gold. In 2022 alone they purchased over 1,000 metric tons of gold the highest level since 1967 by 2023 gold buying had reached another record-breaking Pace with China Russia India and turkey leading the charge even countries that don’t traditionally hoard gold like Qatar or Singapore and Thailand they have joined the gold buying spree. But why would these countries many of whom have been happily dealing in dollars for decades why would they suddenly start stockpiling gold like it’s a limited edition. Supreme drop it all comes down to one thing they don’t trust the United States Financial system anymore when the US and its European allies froze over $300 billion dollar of Russia’s foreign reserves in 2020 22 as part of their economic sanctions it sent a giant wake up call to the rest of the world.
If Russia’s dollar and Euro reserves could be turned into worthless numbers overnight then any country that pisses off Washington or Brussels could be next and that’s why we’re seeing this massive gold buying spree nations are realizing that the only way to guarantee Financial sovereignty is to hold assets that cannot be frozen seized or manipulated by Western powers and gold well gold is the ultimate Fu to the financial system it’s neutral it’s recognized everywhere and most importantly it’s real. You see for years bricks Nations which are Brazil Russia India China and South Africa have been quietly plotting to create an alternative to the US dollar these countries hate the fact that the US can just print infinite dollars dictate global trade terms and when necessary use the dollar as a weapon.
The bricks response is a potential new gold backed Trade Currency Russia and China have been not so subtly hinting that they want to move toward a system where global trade is settled in gold or commodity-backed currency instead of dollars. It’s basically the financial version of telling the US yeah we’re not buying drinks with your Monopoly money anymore this bar only takes cold hard cash or in this case giant shiny rocks even Beyond bricks countries like Saudi Arabia Iran turkey and Argentina there are all exploring ways to move away from the dollar the Petro dollar which has been the backbone of the US economic dominance since the 1970s is now facing its biggest threat in decades.
As Saudi Arabia is considering accepting gold or Uan for oil instead of dollars that’s basically like telling your sugar daddy listen babe it’s been fun but I think I’d rather be with someone who actually has real money not just maxed out credit cards and a massive gambling problem. This is a direct challenge to the dollars of Gemini and if i a gold backed bricks currency gains traction it could cause a financial earthquake imagine a world where oil gas food and raw materials are no longer traded in dollars but in Gold backed currencies. Instead the US would lose its ability to export inflation and suddenly America wouldn’t be able to print its way out of a financial crisis anymore and could this actually happen it’s possible and maybe it’s not guaranteed and it’s not certain but it’s somewhere in between. The United States is like a washed up B still trying to headline Coachella while the rest of the world is busy streaming newer hotter acts on Spotify.
However all of this evidence points to something and that something is that I think a financial reset is coming every major Global Financial order eventually collapses. The gold standard gone in 71 Breton Woods gone by 73 the Petro dollar that might be gone pretty soon and if all these things continue like gold repatriation central banks buying gold and dollarization we’re looking at a tectonic shift in the financial fair value of gold. Would have to be $10,000 to $50,000 per ounce today just to match the current supply of money at $50,000 an ounce gold is about to be the new Bitcoin except instead of weird dudes yelling a Hoddle online. It’ll be rich guys in suits screaming I told you Fiat was a scam and they’ll do this while you know snorting powdered gold like it was the 1980s all over again and if this sounds insane well it already happened before again in 1934 Roosevelt revalued gold from $20.67 to $35 an ounce effectively devaluing the Dollar by 69% overnight.
Nice a similar move today would make gold the only safe bet in a collapsing Fiat world so is a financial reset actually coming well all the signs are pointing in that Direction central banks don’t hoard gold for fun they do it when they know something bad is coming and right now they’re hoarding like they’re expecting the financial version of an extinction level event if that happens gold will go from being a niche investment to the only thing standing between nations and total economic chaos by nothing might be coming to an end and gold the OG money might be taking back its throne and as you guys know I don’t take gold sponsors or any sponsors on this channel at all however I am soft launching a few things that you guys might like. The differences between the tall blondes and the Nordics may seem minute they’re not as with other intelligent species present on Earth ranging from agendas and appearances they’re diverse and notthe same at all and it is important to understand the differences.
Let’s explore, hi everyone and welcome to Project Blue Book where we explore all things unidentified I am Thor and thanks for tuning in.
I must make a declaration first there’s a common misunderstanding about tall blondes and Nordics that has been interpreted and misused to support an ideology of white supremacy.
It doesn’t at all this has been going on since the occult days of the real Society in England and Germany the pre-dawn of Nazi ideology regarding the Aryan race it is nonsense if I were to pick a species Superior to all others.
Based on what I know I wouldn’t pick Nordics or tall blondes or reptilians or tall grays for that matter no I would pick an insect-looking creature a praying mantis as likely to be most intelligent most powerful and perhaps most ancient intelligent life form.
To interact with homo sapiens we live in a world of spirits a world of multi-dimensions filled by multiple life forms manifesting in a universal material world and that is all we see. With this in mind I will discuss the evidence observed by those who bear witness on our behalf to the differences between the tall blondes and the Nordics.
Let’s first establish the source there are testimonies of eyewitnesses abductees including people who have worked with tall blondes and others who have encountered Nordics and there are also those who have observed both of them through remote viewing.
Through comparisons between them we can establish commonalities that support a baseline of facts while our knowledge of an unexplained phenomena awaits the arrival of transparent proof. Charles J hall was a weather Observer specialist with the Air Force stationed at Nellis Air Force Base outside of Las Vegas he spent two years in the desert in the 1960s on the Gunnery Range at Indian Springs Nevada where he first encountered and later worked with or four tall blonde aliens. Charles has a triple master’s degree in thermal physics applied nuclear physics and in Business Administration he also did postgraduate doctoral work at the University of Maine.
Buddy Holton is a remote viewer who lives in Brooklyn his psychic and kinetic abilities have been studied by scientists he can bend a medal he is a psychic healer and his remote viewing has proven to be extremely accurate he’s had non-human intelligent beings materialized in front of him while in the company of other eyewitnesses who corroborated the event. Other sources include Joe Matt Monico David skall William Burns Brian Hunter George adamski and others. They’ve been here for a very long time possibly 260 million years the Nordics allegedly come from the Pleiades star system and from Sirius A and B they belong to a Type 3 civilization permanently inhabiting their own as well as other solar systems including ours. The tall blunts on the other hand come from 82g Epsilon Eridian also observable at 80 light years away from Earth while Pleiades is a whopping 444 light years from Earth. Serious a b are pretty close only eight light years away and for comparison Zeta reticuli where the tall Grace may have originated is 44 light years away. They’re all our neighbors in our galaxy. The Milky Way there are millions of galaxies many look at the tall blondes and the Nordics quote unquote Earthly appearance as a sign this is all a made-up nonsense because they look just like us and they shouldn’t and they couldn’t if they are of extraterrestrial origin.
This argument of course discounts what we know about physics and the material Universe which is pretty much made up of the same stuff which means water is the source of Life everywhere in the universe and carbon is the construction material for matter everywhere in the universe and it also disregards the possibility that propagation of Life across our galaxy may have been influenced if not directed or orchestrated.
Therefore let’s pause and think about this from another perspective they the tall blondes and the Nordics they don’t look like us. We look like them and we look like them because we are them partly by Design through their presence on Earth reaching perhaps 270 million years back in time. They’ve been able to visit our ancestors of the homo sapien family and before them Homo erectus neanderthalis chromagnan and likely more in order to influence evolve and manipulate our DNA the missing links that anthropologists speak of are missing only for the reason we don’t recognize them they are off Planet DNA links spliced into the code of Earth’s grown primates in order to create us. Scientists on earth have confirmed two things there are Homo erectus remains dating back over 70 million years which means humanoids walked Earth among the dinosaurs and they have confirmed our missing DNA links.
Have no explanation available nothing in the evolutionary history on Earth explains the sudden appearance of homo sapiens less than 200 000 years ago or the reason for our evolutionary jump a major upgrade in our capabilities intelligently that basically turned us from hunters and gatherers to Farmers and mathematicians and astronomical observers dating back no more than 40 000 years.
It just appeared emerged without a Connection to the Past the Nordics are consistently described as shorter than the tall blunts but not short at all from six to seven and a half feet normally they are also more athletic more physical
The tall blondes on the other hand are much taller eight feet and as high as 10 feet even if their children remain between five and six feet through their 50 years of childhood in adolescence they live to be 700 years old and they may not care for immortality because they may have mastered the recycling of souls.
What they have in common is reverence for Earth as a bio-systemic wonder and what it can provide for sustenance nutrition medicine chemistry and biological lab work and evolution.
We already know this ourselves we have been allowed to evolve multiply and live within this laboratory used by so many of our Galactic Neighbors which is why multiple races inhabit the Earth in one capacity or another.
Earth sits at an outer wing tip of the Milky Way galaxy if you look at it with your bare eyes up in the dark clear sky of say Montana you’re looking inwards toward its middle it’s a galactic Outpost for valuable resources none of this is therefore about us primarily but since we’re here they must deal with us it’s important to understand this for all the reasons associated with trying to figure out motives objectives and reason.
When it comes to unexplained phenomena and they both fret our acquisition of nuclear technology because we can’t handle it we don’t know how to neutralize nuclear wastes nor can we reverse a nuclear fusion fission or reaction we only know how to explode. It’s extremely dangerous and concerning which led to a treaty in 1954 between Eisenhower and the tall blondes where it was suggested we give up nuclear power altogether. A condition Eisenhower rejected in the early days of the cold war with the Soviet Union and it is also why UFO activity escalated dramatically since the 1940s when we acquired the nuclear skill set.
The Nordics have been nicknamed the Watchers as they remain passive observants they are neutral in any circumstance and their primary concern is Earth’s ecosystem and its preservation they tried to influence and guide us on a spiritual level and continue to do so. Their pale skinned mostly blonde-haired but sometimes also reddish with light-colored green or blue eyes. The tall whites are a highly intelligent species they have incredible technology intertwined with psychic abilities which they don’t share with anyone because they don’t trust anyone with it to use their technology for the right reasons. They’re of Slender and Incredibly tall but weaker physically they’re stoic and altruistic and they are compassionate but they are also impatient and absolute when it comes to their Rules of Engagement. They’re extremely protective of Earth’s environment they have that in common with the Nordics but the tall whites are greater interventionists they will prevent us from irreversibly destroying this ecosystem because we don’t have the right to destroy it is not ours alone the tall blonde psychic powers means they can easily affect matter with mind control it’s the combination of psychic powers and technology that truly sets them apart.
Based in ganymedes the largest moon in the solar system circling Jupiter and their life Supply is Earth even as they don’t consume anything that once lived plants or animals they produce their own biosynthetic nutrition.
Tall blondes interact with humans through treaties contracts and collaboration Nordics interact with humans through telepathy dreams and suggestion but there are stories of abductions by the Nordics to their underground bases and their spherical spaceships including those of Filipino Cardenas Travis Walton Herbert Shermer and George adamsky.
The tall blonde’s Revere family loyalty order and Rules of Engagement there’s a story I’ve heard repeatedly from different sources that happened in the 1960s when a new guard arrived at Indian Springs with instructions not to cross certain territorial boundaries when he still did out of human curiosity he came to observe tall blonde children at play on the surface of the Earth near Indian Springs Nevada. When an adult tall blonde saw this he instantly killed him with his mind power at a distance he stopped his heart from beating it became a lesson to others to respect their rules their boundaries and their superiority.
The Nordics have the easiest time blending in with humans where as the tall blondes cannot for this reason the Nordics are the original quote-unquote space Brothers as depicted in 1950s movies and let’s not forget this is also why hopies welcomed white settlers because their own belief system included the existence of a pale-skinned race off planet.
Both view the tall Grays as malevolent with an agenda that disregards humans simply as just another source of biomaterial usable for their own species hybridization benefit but neither the tall blondes nor the Nordics view Us in these terms but more like an infant species and a dawn of a new Galactic Civilization.
To me there seems to be a rule of Engagement guard rails of conduct they may be broken once in a while but they’re never obliterated this is why the concealment of all intelligent species present on Earth has by and large been successful to the degree they deem necessary. It follows a pattern of gradual painfully slow reveal to show as they exist long before we know them who they are and why they’re here and how we relate to them and the rest of the universe. The clandestine influencing the meddling with occasional mishaps and Random Encounters all in all everything seems to follow a set of rules a Doctrine it waits for us to be ready by way of knowledge and mental disposition until one day in a generation we’re deemed ready.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) gave roughly $473 million to a “secretive” nonprofit organization that supported efforts to censor social media users, according to documents released by WikiLeaks.
This news comes less than a week after President Donald Trump cut major funding to USAID amid revelations the organization financed groups, including some media outlets, that engaged in smear campaigns and censorship against dissident voices.
WikiLeaks is a multinational organization founded by Julian Assange that specializes “in the analysis and publication of large datasets of censored or otherwise restricted official materials involving war, spying and corruption.”

Internews Network has 30 international offices, including headquarters in Washington, D.C., London, Paris, Kyiv, Bangkok and Nairobi.
According to its website, the organization is a nonprofit that supports “independent media” in over 100 countries. “We train journalists and digital rights activists, advance internet freedom, and offer business expertise to help media outlets become financially sustainable.”
However, WikiLeaks suggested that some Internews Network activities may be linked to efforts to influence media narratives and regulate information flow on social media.
During the World Economic Forum’s 2024 Annual Meeting, Internews President Jeanne Bourgault called on the global advertising industry to back what she called the “good news and information” to deal with “disinformation.”
“Disinformation makes money,” she said, “We need to follow that money. … You can work really hard on inclusion lists or exclusion lists to sort of really try to focus ad dollars and challenge the global advertising industry all around the world to focus our ad dollars towards the good news and information.”
According to documents released by WikiLeaks, Bourgault receives roughly $451,000 annually. She formerly worked for the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and directed USAID’s Office of Democratic Initiatives, according to her LinkedIn profile.
WikiLeaks also cited documents showing that since 2008, when electronic records began, the U.S. government supplied more than 95% of Internews’ budget. Documents also showed that the network’s budget has doubled over the past decade.
On Feb. 8 as a follow-up to its disclosure, WikiLeaks highlighted a post by X user KanekoaTheGreat of Internews Network’s annual reports.
The post said, “Here’s how this nonprofit played a crucial role in regime change across Eastern Europe in service of NATO expansion — then turned its tactics inward, calling for censorship in the West.”

Internews Network was founded in 1982 in San Franciso to support independent media, but the organization “lost its way,” WikiLeaks said, citing a 2005 John Hopkins Magazine article that detailed the experiences of the network’s founder David Hoffman and the network’s evolution since its start.
When asked to comment on WikiLeaks’ disclosure, journalist Paul D. Thacker told The Defender he wanted to wait until he’s been able to “look more deeply at the details, but it fits with a disturbing narrative we are seeing in the media.”
The U.S. government shouldn’t be training and funding journalists who then shape news narratives according to the government’s political interests, he said.
“As evidence comes to light that the U.S. government is funding ‘independent’ media, we see journalists screaming when this funding is yanked, instead of being appalled that the funding exists,” Thacker said.
For example, the Global Investigative Journalism Network on Feb. 7 called upon U.S. elected officials to reverse Trump’s withholding of USAID funds for independent news organizations, Thacker said.
Although it’s clear that Internews Network was used to shape news narratives, the scope of its direct censorship activities is unclear.
WikiLeaks did not respond by the deadline when asked to provide detailed documents supporting its allegation that the network has “supported social media censorship initiatives.”
Journalist Matt Taibbi commented on WikiLeaks’ disclosure by writing on Substack that he intends to delve into the network’s activities, but the analysis will take some time.
Taibbi explained to his readers:
“Have you ever come across a big piece of plywood lying flat in a field, or a junkyard? Sometimes you pick it up and it’s just dirt, and sometimes it’s a mass of snakes and maggots and wriggling things.
“Please bear with me on Internews. This one’s going to take a minute.”
As the Trump administration began reorganizing and cutting major funding to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), revelations emerged that the organization financed groups, including some media outlets, engaged in smear campaigns and censorship against dissident voices.
The agency, known as a front for U.S. intelligence operations, has financed regime change and other American interests worldwide. It also funds news organizations that are aligned with U.S. foreign policy objectives.
USAID also directly funds smaller media organizations and even runs its own media initiatives to undermine regimes the U.S. deems problematic.
Reporters Without Borders, which lamented the Trump cuts to USAID, reported that in 2023 the agency funded 6,200 journalists, 707 non-state news outlets and “supported 279 media-sector civil society organizations dedicated to strengthening independent media.”
Recent reporting by journalists such as Sayer Ji of GreenMedInfo, Lee Fang, and Michael Shellenberger and Alex Gutentag of Public News has linked that funding to the smearing and censoring of independent journalists and platforms within the U.S. and internationally.
“USAID has long functioned as a geopolitical instrument, using media funding to shape narratives favorable to Western governmental and corporate interests,” Ji told The Defender.
“While it presents itself as a development agency, its deep ties to intelligence operations and state-sponsored influence campaigns are well-documented,” Ji said. “Media organizations receiving USAID funding are not independent — they are extensions of state power, laundering government-sanctioned narratives under the guise of journalism.”
Ji reported on Substack that BBC Media Action, the BBC’s international charity, received substantial funding from USAID — 8% of its 2023-2024 budget, according to a BBC press statement.
He said BBC Media Action has faced accusations of engaging in censorship under the guise of “combating misinformation,” and that it leverages the BBC brand to shape media narratives, including about public health, vaccines and pharmaceutical products.
Ji said this is concerning given that BBC has expanded its influence through projects like the Trusted News Initiative (TNI), a self-described “industry partnership” that worked with Big Tech forms to identify “misinformation” and “disinformation” on their platforms.
Claiming to combat misinformation about COVID-19, TNI’s work has been tied to suppressing viewpoints that contradict the mainstream pharmaceutical and governmental stance on public health, like those of GreenMedInfo and Children’s Health Defense (CHD).
“The revelations regarding USAID’s funding of BBC Media Action and its role in the Trusted News Initiative (TNI) further solidify what many of us have long suspected: Censorship is no longer a covert operation but a fully integrated transnational enterprise designed to suppress dissent and monopolize narratives,” Ji told The Defender.
CHD is one of several plaintiffs in a lawsuit against TNI, alleging the initiative violated antitrust laws and the U.S. Constitution when its members collectively colluded with tech giants to censor online news.
Fang reported on Substack about other “anti-disinformation” groups financed by the “sprawling” USAID that have targeted American journalists and politicians. These include the Zinc Network, which he said targeted reporter Max Blumenthal, politician Vivek Ramaswamy, and Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.
According to Fang, the USAID also funded v-Fluence, a pesticide industry public relations consultant, which dug up dirt on American food journalists — including Michael Pollan and Mark Bittman — who criticized industrial agriculture.
v-Fluence also ran a campaign to intimidate critics of toxic pesticides, targeting environmentalists Vandana Shiva and Nnimmo Bassey and reporter Carey Gillam as part of its broader effort “to downplay pesticide dangers, discredit opponents, and undermine international policymaking harmful to the pesticide industry,” The New Lede reported.
USAID also financed news outlets in Ukraine, including The New Voice of Ukraine, VoxUkraine, Detector Media, and the Institute of Mass Information, which spread rumors that Americans who favor peace negotiations with Russia are agents of the Kremlin, Fang wrote. The media outlets targeted Jeffrey Sachs, Tucker Carlson, Glenn Greenwald and John Mearsheimer, Fang reported.
Fang said the influence of those groups “extends far beyond” Ukraine. VoxUkraine is an official Meta fact-checking partner, he said, and Detector Media produces disinformation reports that circulate widely in Western media.
“Despite branding as independent outlets, these organizations are heavily reliant on USAID,” Fang wrote.
USAID also funds the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), a major — if largely unknown – organization that works with dozens of major newspapers to publish major investigative stories.
Drop Site News revealed in an investigative report published in December 2024 that OCCRP, which it called “one of the world’s most influential global investigative news organizations,” has received more than half of its funding from the U.S. government, largely through USAID.
The investigation found that funding gives the U.S. government direct influence over editorial and personnel decisions at the outlet.
Fang also reported that USAID’s sister nonprofit, the National Endowment for Democracy funds Coda Story, an anti-disinformation news outlet in New York.
Shellenberger said in a video posted on X that USAID’s work also extended beyond funding news agencies to promote ideas favorable to U.S. interests. It also included developing intelligence tactics abroad that it then used domestically to counter misinformation.
Shellenberger said:
“To combat alleged misinformation, the censorship industrial complex used counter-terrorism and intelligence tactics developed abroad, including psychological operations and repurposed them to shape domestic opinion and thought. …
“USAID has, in recent years, been funding censorship worldwide through its countering disinformation program, which is part of its consortium for elections and political process strengthening. This work has included funding for so-called fact-checking organizations.”
Claims about Politico may be overblown, but USAID must be investigated
As the revelations about USAID’s funding to journalism went viral, former Fox News producer Kyle Becker reported on X that Politico had received $8.1 million from the agency and that USAID’s funding freeze had led to a payroll problem at the outlet.
His claims went viral and provoked dismissive fact-checks by mainstream media organizations.
Fang said that according to USAID contract records, the agency paid $44,000 for subscription services to the news service. Politico, like other outlets including Bloomberg and LexisNexis, offers high-priced data-industry news subscriptions for tens of thousands of dollars.
The $8.1 million figure came from all government subscription payments to Politico — not just from USAID — and there is no evidence the USAID funding freeze was related to the payroll issue at the outlet.
The $8.1 figure, however, has highlighted the fact that most mainstream news organizations, including The New York Times, Reuters, and The Associated Press receive significant income from various government agencies through subscriptions and other funding.
And USAID does fund many “questionable news operations,” globally that ought to be subject to scrutiny, Fang wrote:
“And unlike Politico, there is actual evidence that the freeze on USAID spending is impacting the American government’s quasi-shadowy constellation of news operations all over the world.
“Voice of America reported ‘independent news outlets’ in more than 30 countries, including Austria, Ukraine, and Myanmar, are facing cuts or are at risk of shutting down over the USAID freeze. Ironically, of course, Voice of America is also funded by American taxpayers.”
Ji said that subjecting these organizations to scrutiny and defunding them is an important step, “but only if it leads to widespread public awareness and systemic resistance.”
Organizations like BBC Media and others can find new sources of funding, “unless there is mass rejection of their authority.”
“The key is decentralization — building alternative platforms, supporting independent journalism, and challenging censorship through legal and political action. The exposure of these ties is a wake-up call: free speech is under siege, and only a vigilant, informed public can reclaim it,” he said.

All with your best interests at heart call me a skeptic I think we need to dig a little deeper into this.
This pact was announced on the first official day of the UN’s summit of the future.
Perhaps it is going to make all our lives better or perhaps it marks a significant step towards a technocratic vision of global governance the summit of the future which in itself is a weirdly broad title.
Because there wouldn’t be much demand for a summit discussing what’s just happened in the past was held at the beginning of the 79th session of the annual UN General Assembly.
This Summit has been in the making since at least 2022 is following repeated calls by un Secretary General Antonio Gus to accelerate the completion of agenda 2030.
Theses were the goals set out by the UN in 2015 now agenda 2030 basically underpins everything that is happening in towns and cities all across the world.
And once you understand that much of life even here in the UK begins to make perfect sense at a time when it can feel that nothing makes any bloody sense.
Agenda 2030 consists of 17 sustainability goals so that means that elected and some not so elected politicians came together and agreed that if only every government in the world would adhere to these 2030 aims some might say instructions we could eradicate poverty improve health and education reduce inequality tackle climate change and so on.
You might recognize The Branding it is everywhere although you probably almost never consciously noticed it was included in the Euro football it appeared at the Olympics it is in every corporate handbook and on every website.
Open your new mobile phone and there it is in the apps even though you didn’t ask for it.
But of course you wouldn’t want to achieve these Noble aims of eradicating poverty and so on it all sounds so lovely and benign you would be a very brave leader to stand up at a UN assembly and say actually I quite like poverty and inequality or I don’t like poverty and inequality but I do also have an obligation to make decision which help people who voted for me in my own country too!
And that above all these lofty Global aims will be foremost in my mind but as it is also lovely and benign this pack for the future sits alongside two other complimentary documents they are the global digital Compact and the Declaration on future Generations so what exactly is this packed for the future?
Well according to United Nations it covers a wide array of themes including peace and security sustainable development climate change digital cooperation AKA clamping down on Free Speech human rights gender equality Youth and future Generations?
It also focuses on transforming Global governance to better address these challenges Global governance you say well I didn’t vote for anyone’s prime minister but my own and I certainly don’t want one that is imposed upon me from another country?

As you can see world leaders are on the surface at least committed to this Vision but it is not possible to achieve these utopian ideals without a deliberate perhaps forceful redistribution of food Goods property and rights just like good old-fashioned communism.
The ambition for equal outcome for everyone always results in the very rich getting supremely richer the very poor perhaps being lifted up a little but the billions in the middle getting colder poorer hungrier and enslaved within their digital prison just as communism was never really about equality.

In de potten deed onderzoeksleider Albert Zink met zijn team een ontdekking die op het eerste gezicht ‘vrij onbeduidend’ leek, omdat de inhoud nog het meeste leek op lappen oude kleren.
Maar bij nader onderzoek bleek de vondst gemummificeerd weefsel van onbekende oorsprong te zijn. Microscopische analysen konden niet onthullen wat de bron was, want overstromingen en temperatuurschommelingen hebben in de loop der jaren bijna alle DNA-sporen en eiwitten vernietigd.
Dunne plakjes van het weefsel en een speciale kleurtechniek, Giemsa-kleuring, brachten echter een mogelijk bloedvat aan het licht dat nog steeds clusters van rode bloedcellen bevatte, waarin een parasietachtige structuur zat. En dat was onverwacht.

De onderzoekers namen 24 monsters van het weefsel van een de’ Medici. Overstromingen en temperatuurschommelingen hebben in de loop der jaren bijna al het DNA vernietigd.

‘We wisten dat rode bloedcellen bewaard konden blijven,’ zegt onderzoeksleider Albert Zink tegen LiveScience.
‘Maar we verwachtten geen parasieten te zien,’ vertelt hij. ‘Er is immers al 500 jaar verstreken.’
Uit nader onderzoek bleek dat meerdere bloedcellen de meest kwaadaardige en dodelijke malariaparasiet bevatten – de zogeheten Plasmodium falciparum, die in Afrika tegenwoordig het meest voorkomt.
Ze kunnen niet met zekerheid zeggen dat het familielid is overleden aan malaria. Maar uit een analyse van suikermoleculen op de oppervlakte blijkt dat de oude bloedcellen van het bloedtype B zijn, en die bloedgroep maakt mensen vatbaarder voor malaria.
In de studie zelf schrijven de onderzoekers dat de familie de’ Medici graag aan jagen deed in de laagliggende watergebieden rond Florence en Toscane, waar veel muggen leefden, en die best de malariaparasiet bij zich zouden kunnen hebben gedragen.
Onderzoekers onthullen: Deze karaktertrek kenmerkt de rijksten
Eén bepaald trekje komt veel voor bij rijke mensen. Dit blijkt uit een onderzoek dat ook een eigenschap aanwijst die maar weinig mensen bovenaan de economische ladder bezitten.
Jarenlang zaten kijkers wereldwijd aan het scherm gekluisterd om de steenrijke, disfunctionele familie Roy te volgen in de HBO-hitserie Succession, die na vier seizoenen bijna is afgelopen.
Als kijker krijg je de indruk dat de leden van de machtige clan narcistisch en opportunistisch van aard zijn.
Maar is dit een adequaat beeld van de rijksten in de samenleving?
Twee onderzoekers uit Noorwegen en Groot-Brittannië belichten dit in een artikel in Financial Planning Review.
Daarin analyseren de onderzoekers gegevens die eerder waren verzameld onder 3240 Britten.
Een deel van de dataset bevat informatie over de financiën van de deelnemers en hun demografische kenmerken, zoals leeftijd, geslacht en opleidingsniveau.
Hieruit bleek dat 10,8 procent van de respondenten meer dan 75.000 pond per jaar verdiende, terwijl 23,7 procent een huishoudinkomen had van minder dan 20.000 pond per jaar.
Eén bepaalde eigenschap komt terug
In het tweede deel van de dataset vulden de deelnemers een persoonlijkheidstest in die gebaseerd was op het zogeheten vijffactorenmodel.
Het vijffactorenmodel is een erkend psychologisch model gebaseerd op vijf hoofddimensies van persoonlijkheid, de ‘Big Five’.

Het model is gebaseerd op vijf persoonlijkheidskenmerken. We vallen allemaal ergens in het spectrum van elke eigenschap, en aan de hand van onze positie kunnen we verklaren hoe we van elkaar verschillen in termen van voorkeuren, gedrag en emoties.
De vijf eigenschappen zijn:
Extraversie (introvert-extrovert)
Neuroticisme (bezorgd-kalm)
Openheid (conventioneel-origineel)
Consciëntieusheid (onbetrouwbaar-getrouw)
Vriendelijkheid (prikkelbaar-goedaardig)
Hoewel de analyse van de onderzoekers – weinig verrassend – liet zien dat de rijke groep vooral werd gekenmerkt door twee gemeenschappelijke demografische kenmerken, namelijk een hoge leeftijd en een hoog inkomen, deelden de rijke respondenten ook een aantal gemeenschappelijke karaktertrekken.
Eerst en vooral waren de rijksten over het algemeen heel consciëntieus.
Aan de andere kant van de schaal kwam eruit dat je niet zo snel een groot fortuin zult vergaren als je van nature neurotisch bent.
Voor de overige drie karaktertrekken kwam een minder eenduidig beeld naar voren.
Extraverte mensen hadden bijvoorbeeld over het algemeen weinig spaargeld, maar meer potentieel waardevolle voorwerpen, misschien omdat ze meer geneigd zijn tot impulsaankopen dan anderen, aldus de onderzoekers.
Elk jaar veranderen onschuldige menigtes in moordmachines, die honderden hulpeloze slachtoffers verstikken. Onderzoek wijst nu uit dat de oorzaak niet in de paniek ligt, maar in de meedogenloze wetten van de natuurkunde.
Vier uur voordat de tragedie toeslaat, is het chaos in het bruisende district Itaewon in Seoel. Duizenden en nog eens duizenden feestende jongeren stromen uit de metro de smalle steegjes in, waar discobeats klinken uit bars, nachtclubs en restaurants.
Meer dan 100.000 mensen gaan op 29 oktober 2022 de straat op om het eerste Halloween na drie coronajaren te vieren. Maar veel feestgangers voelen zich onveilig in de menigte, en de politie in de hoofdstad van Zuid-Korea krijgt om 18.34 uur de eerste noodoproep.
‘Mensen op straat kunnen geen kant op. Het voelt alsof je doodgedrukt wordt. Ik kon op het nippertje wegkomen, maar het is te druk, u moet iets doen, er is handhaving nodig,’ smeekt de stem.
Om 21.10 uur komt er nog een oproep. ‘Halloweenfeest … een ernstige situatie. Mensen worden hier doodgedrukt,’ zijn de flarden van het gesprek die nog net door het achtergrondgeluid heen komen.
De politie is Oost-Indisch doof.
Er sluimert een ramp. En die is het gevolg van een fundamenteel natuurkundig verschijnsel dat wetenschappers nu in detail hebben blootgelegd.
Bedevaart draait uit op massasterfte
Wanneer grote menigtes zich verzamelen voor een evenement in een beperkte ruimte, zijn planning en regulering van groot belang. Dichte mensenmassa’s zijn levensgevaarlijk, en gehaast, geduw, valpartijen en zuurstofgebrek kunnen fatale gevolgen hebben.
In de loop der jaren hebben zich tal van rampen voorgedaan waarbij mensen zijn omgekomen of ernstig gewond zijn geraakt omdat ze in de verdrukking kwamen. Sinds de jaren 1990 eisen zulke rampen gemiddeld 380 levens per jaar.
Een van de gruwelijkste vond plaats in de stad Mina bij Mekka in Saoedi-Arabië in 2015 tijdens de jaarlijkse islamitische hadj, een bedevaart waaraan doorgaans zo’n 2,5 miljoen mensen deelnemen.
Twee groepen pelgrims stroomden vanuit tegengestelde richtingen dezelfde smalle weg op en werden zo dicht opeengeperst dat ze niet meer als individuen konden functioneren. Ongeveer 2300 mensen kwamen om het leven.
De vele mensen vormden een entiteit die zijn eigen wetten volgde. Volgens natuurkundigen bewegen grote mensenmassa’s als vloeistoffen, waarbij kleine verstoringen zich kunnen uitbreiden en catastrofale golven worden.
Kennis van deze dynamiek van de massa is cruciaal wanneer organisatoren van bijvoorbeeld festivals en concerten een publieksevenement veilig moeten plannen en uitvoeren.
Een gemiddelde rechtopstaande mens neemt circa 0,2 vierkante meter ruimte in beslag. Bij twee mensen per vierkante meter kunnen individuen zich nog vrij bewegen – drie of vier mensen gaat ook nog. Maar bij vijf of meer mensen per vierkante meter moeten de alarmbellen toch echt gaan rinkelen.
Daarbij zitten de mensen als haringen in een ton en worden hun ademhaling en bewegingsvrijheid beperkt of onmogelijk gemaakt. Mensen worden naar voren of naar achteren geduwd, opgetild of onder de voet gelopen. De druk kan makkelijk leiden tot ribbreuken of verstikking.

De enorme druk van alle kanten houdt de groep overeind en in evenwicht. Maar als één persoon zijn houvast verliest en valt – bijvoorbeeld omdat de menigte heen en weer gaat golven – kan dat een domino-effect geven, waarbij mensen worden meegesleurd in een massale val die pas stopt als de druk afneemt.
Wie onderop belandt, loopt het risico te stikken of te worden verpletterd door het gewicht van de anderen.
Volgens deskundigen was dit ook de oorzaak van de duizenden doden onder pelgrims in Mina in 2015. Hier bereikte de dichtheid van de menigte naar schatting zeven mensen per vierkante meter. In de massa hadden mensen moeite om adem te halen, en velen stierven mogelijk door zuurstofgebrek terwijl ze nog stonden.
Steegje werd een dodelijke val
In Itaewon, Seoel, gaat het in de avond van 29 oktober 2022 van kwaad tot erger. Mensen staan hutjemutje op elkaar in de wijk, en één steile, smalle steeg in het bijzonder is gevaarlijk druk.
Vanaf beide uiteinden van de 42 meter lange – en op sommige plaatsen slechts 3,6 meter brede – steeg stromen mensen toe. En even voor 22.00 uur beseffen de feestvierders dat ze in de val zitten.
‘Er zijn hier zoveel mensen bij elkaar dat u volgens mij moet komen om iets te doen. Kunt u meteen komen? Het is een gevaarlijke situatie, kom alstublieft snel,’ luidt een wanhopig telefoontje aan de politie om 21.51 uur.
In een belletje van 20 minuten later wordt de ernst van de situatie duidelijk. ‘Mensen worden doodgedrukt,’ roept een stem, die een tel later wordt overstemd door noodkreten.
Het ongeluk met Halloween in Seoel vond plaats in een smalle steeg waar tienduizenden mensen tegen elkaar gedrukt werden. Bewegingen trokken als golven door de mensenzee, waardoor mensen omvielen.
Een zwetende politieagent probeert met schreeuwen en gebaren de leiding te nemen en de mensen te sturen, maar het mag niet baten – de meute leidt een eigen leven en golft heen en weer. De achterste mensen voelen niet hoezeer ze de voorste onder druk zetten, en degenen in het midden van de mensenzee in het smalle steegje zijn volledig aan de meute overgeleverd. De dichtheid heeft nu een alarmerende 12 mensen per vierkante meter bereikt.
Mensen worden van alle kanten platgedrukt en het is alsof alle zuurstof uit de lucht is gezogen. Alleen lange mensen weten hun hoofd boven de massa uit te steken en naar frisse lucht te happen.
‘Niet duwen, niet duwen,’ smeken verschillende jongeren.
Mensen die langs de muren staan, proberen te ontsnappen door ertegenop te klimmen. Zich vastklampend aan het metselwerk of de neonreclames zien ze geschokt hoe de hel losbreekt: mensen vallen om alsof het stukken zijn in een duivels dominospel. En er is niet genoeg ruimte om weer op te staan.
Paniek is een hardnekkige mythe
Als de media verslag doen van rampen waarbij mensen in menigten zijn gestikt, luidt de verklaring geregeld dat mensen in paniek zijn geraakt en elkaar onder de voet hebben gelopen. In de Engelstalige media is het woord stampede een terugkerend woord. Het wordt ook gebruikt om de ramp van Itaewon te beschrijven.
‘Stampede’ beschrijft een situatie waarin een kudde grote dieren wild op de vlucht slaat en zichzelf en andere dieren schade toebrengt. De woordkeuze bevestigt het verhaal dat menigtes irrationeel handelen en gegrepen worden door massale paniek – en dat die paniek dodelijk is.
Maar het zit anders: ‘Mensen sterven niet omdat ze in paniek raken, ze raken in paniek omdat ze sterven,’ aldus G. Keith Still, deskundige in massaveiligheid aan de universiteit van Suffolk.
Volgens Edwin Galea, onderzoeker van massagedrag aan de universiteit van Greenwich, is massapaniek niet alleen een hardnekkige mythe, maar ook een problematische term omdat de menigte daarmee de schuld krijgt van de ramp.
Na enkele jaren studie is het duidelijk dat betrokkenen verstandig en beheerst reageren en zelfs helpen om de omvang van de ramp te beperken. Mensen helpen anderen heel erg – zelfs als ze die niet kennen. Ze zetten soms zelfs hun leven op het spel om anderen te redden.
Een tragedie in Duisburg, Duitsland, in 2010 wordt eveneens toegeschreven aan massapaniek: bij de Love Parade werden er 21 mensen doodgedrukt en raakten er zeker 600 gewond toen ze een stuk wilden afsnijden naar het feestgedruis door een tunnel, maar die bleek een flessenhals naar het festivalterrein te zijn.
Onderzoekers van het Swiss Federal Institute of Technology die de tragedie analyseerden, ontdekten dat niet zozeer massapaniek de oorzaak was, maar een soort lawine, waarbij krachten van het ene lichaam inwerkten op het andere – lichte druk en spanningen plantten zich voort door de menigte, waardoor er in de tunnel een massale valpartij ontstond.
De menigte hielp de ramp juist in te dammen: veel mensen beseften al snel dat de situatie kritiek kon worden en gingen naar de nooduitgangen, waardoor waarschijnlijk levens werden gered.
Politie erkent fouten
In Itaewon komen ambulances te laat om levens te redden. Reddingswerkers worstelen zich door de menigte heen, en als ze ter plekke zijn, is het alsof ze in een oorlogsgebied zijn beland: honderden jonge mensen liggen er levenloos bij.
Terwijl harde feestmuziek uit de bars klinkt, beginnen de reddingswerkers en politieagenten mensen te reanimeren of te beademen, maar al snel liggen er rijen doden onder dekens en lakens.
158 mensen zijn gestikt of doodgedrukt in een van de ergste rampen in de recente geschiedenis van Zuid-Korea. De dag daarop luidt er al kritiek op de politie, die erkent inadequaat te hebben gehandeld.
Nieuwe technologieën moeten helpen de veiligheid bij grote evenementen te vergroten. Zo kunnen computersimulaties de capaciteit en bewegingen voorspellen, terwijl kunstmatige intelligentie de mensen kan tellen.
President Yoon Suk-yeol heeft meteen veiligheidsprocedures ingesteld om dit soort ongelukken te voorkomen. Gelukkig zijn daar voldoende mogelijkheden voor.
Verbeteringen moeten voor een groot deel komen van nieuwe natuurkundige kennis van massa’s, maar ook van de technologische vooruitgang, variërend van drones tot kunstmatige intelligentie.
De hoop is dat de technologie binnenkort in staat zal zijn om gebeurtenissen te plannen en te volgen – en, belangrijker nog, effectief op te treden wanneer de golven in de mensenzee hoog zijn.
